The Principal Sales Consultant in the field of Contract Staffing is a key member of the sales team responsible for driving business growth by offering temporary staffing solutions to clients in the technology sector. This role involves strategic planning, relationship building, and providing expert guidance to clients to ensure they have access to the best-fit temporary tech talent for their projects. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Business Development: Lead the identification, targeting, and engagement of potential clients in need of temporary tech staffing solutions. Develop a deep understanding of client needs and challenges to position the company's contract staffing services effectively.
• Consultative Selling: Collaborate with clients to understand their project requirements, technology stacks, and skillset needs. Provide consultative advice on the most suitable contract tech professionals for their projects.
• Solution Design: Work closely with the internal recruitment and staffing teams to design tailored staffing solutions that align with client needs. Ensure that proposed candidates possess the necessary technical expertise and cultural fit.
• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, long-lasting client relationships built on trust and value. Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly.
• Market Insights: Stay updated on the latest technology trends, skill demands, and market dynamics within the tech industry. Share insights with clients to help them make informed decisions regarding their temporary staffing needs.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with recruitment teams to identify and evaluate potential candidates, ensuring they meet the required technical qualifications and soft skills.
• Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms, rates, and conditions with clients while maintaining a win-win approach for both parties.
• Thought Leadership: Establish yourself as an industry thought leader by contributing to discussions, presenting at relevant events, and sharing insights about tech staffing trends and best practices.
• Sales Strategy: Contribute to the development of sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and expansion plans for the tech contract staffing services.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
• A Minimum of bachelor’s degree in any or relevant field
• Proven experience in a sales role within the staffing or technology industry, preferably with a focus on contract staffing.
• In-depth knowledge of the technology landscape, programming languages, and IT roles.
• Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation abilities, and consultative selling expertise.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, lead initiatives, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Results-driven attitude and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
